    Error Saving Sequence

Ok here's what I have. I'm creating the new sequence. 23 min Mp3. 2-24 renards, 2-16 renards, 1- 24 renard on zone 1 in that order with corisponding numbers accordingly. Then 2- ren 64s on zone 2. Numbers corisponding accordingly. Go to save as is, Name it, Locate it. And error saveing sequence. Matter of fact. No matter how I try to save. No can do, evan after optimizeing.

Update: Ok. I tried useing a wave file instead of a mp3 since LSP converts it to a wave. Still have error saving. I tried just a short song only 2 min and was able to save. I come to the comclussion it's the length of the audio file. This is not good since I make the show 1 sequence. I'm hopeing there's a solution.

    Any Ideas would be helpfull,

    Thanks,
    animal

    1. Specfically, what error are you getting?
    2. Are there erros in the log file?
    3. Does the MP3 have a 44K sample rate?
    Thanks
    Mike

    Hey Mike,
The error shows up at the bottom of the main screen. It will say prepaing to save then error saveing to what ever location.
I'll create a clean sequence and mail you the log file.
Yes the mp3 is 44k and so is the wave file.

    Thanks Mike,

    Hi Animal,

Got your mp3, created a new sequence using it and I am able to save the file with no problem. That should prove it is not the size of the MP3 causing the issue.

I will try it with the same controllers you listed in the first post to see what happens.

EDIT: Duplicated the controllers youlisted in post number 1 adn was able to save without any problem. I did not have any effects nor drawings the test but did use your mp3 and was able to save without any error.
    1. When you craeted the 64 channel controllers in zone 2 did you answer yes to configure each new channel so they got the proper channel number assigned to them?
    2. Dumb question, but zone 1 and 2 are configured on different ports, correct? You can check the "outputconfig.xml" file just to verify.
    3. I am not on my machine but I can send you the saved sequence when I get my laptop back up if you wish.
    4. The file that you sent is only 1.45 meg, is that the correct one?
    Mike

Ok this is great news. You know I did not configure the ports or outputs of the controler and if you remember, that's what caused my video issue last time. I'll work on it on sunday and get back to ya, but that's a huge releif!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I'm also thinking of a corupt download. I never deleted the sequence folder on clean install, again thanks and I'll let you know. Hey buy the way. What do you think of the show music. The grinch thing is video that I put together. I've got alot of video that goes with that!!!

New file sent Mike. I don't know what happen with that other file. It doesn't really matter what controllers you put in. You can just drag a 8 channell renard over then try to save it . It will not save. Here's a copy of the updated log. There's a pcm audio compression error. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Well here's my work around. It seems when my audio gets over 10 min. That's when the error in saving happens. So I trimmed down the whole show by 1 song,( it really wasn't needed anyway), and split the show into 2 and made 2 sequences. This seemed to work fine. Everything saved and all is good. It's got to be a windows 7 issue, Mike suggested a permisson issue. That could be. I sent the audio to Mike and he was able to load a sequence, save it and email it back to me. I was able to load it, make changes but not save it . It would then corupt the file. Here is a copy of the error if anyone could shed some in put. For now I can work with 2 seperate sequences.

Thanks Mike for your help, and if anyone could shed some lite on this. Please let me know.
