2011 RGB Display

My humble little display.

the house outline was made with pixel strings encased in custom housings.
housings were made of tube guards (http://www.1000bulbs.com/product/332/PLAS-100300.html) drilled 7mil coroplast strips were populated with pixels and inserted into the tubes... (kind of like an 8' snowfall tube)
Tube ends were sealed with clear latex caps from uline (http://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/...1-2-Clear-Caps) for a perfect fit.

Outline consisted mostly of 8' segments (full tube length) however I also used some 4' and 2' lengths to file some spans.
Tubes are all modular with pigtails.

Where is the controller for the tail lights on the car?

Nice job, like the "Man with the Bag" song. Have not heard that before.

David,

I was happy to see the little tidbit on what system you are using to run your show!
I purchased a little ACER netbook running an ATOM 275?( I think) processor with 1GB ram and 160Gig hard drive.
so far it has run my show very well, but it is always comforting to know that someone is running a larger channel count, more complex show than mine and it is running on similar hardware!

I"ve been trying to think of a simple way for my gutter out line for pixelnet. Thats perfect. I'm makeing the jump next year. Mega tree, mega spheres, and hopefully gutter outline.

Animal here are my strings i had made for me. I am using an old laptop windows xp home

Test-Show

I will be posting pictures of all my hardware inthe next few weeks .

I made candy canes a couple of nights ago with chasing color stripe

everything is rgb.

automatedlights.org is a site i started just so that people can see shows because most business, and china block you tube and most public media sites.

Anyone is welcome to use automatedlights.org
