Thread: RGB controller import support?

Is there any development on being able to import 3 regular (R,G,B Firefly setup) controllers as a LSP RGB controller?

Is the silence my answer?

I was going to wait for David to answer, but I'll go ahead. It is being currently worked on, but there have been some issues. We are trying to work them out, but it may take a little while.

the reason for the delay in this feature is because of the complexity that is introduced by merging completely usermanaged effects into consistently formatted rgb commands.
what happens is that users have the flexibility to do anything in their effects...independent of formal rgb linkages...
interpreting them introduces a lot of assumptions. without being able to accomodate the huge ammount of potential variations we may encounter, the compromise is less that perfect conversion...
we are still looking into a solution.

I have worked a little on this, you would need to "select & merge rgb controllers"

it would have limited functionality but should work with most basic blends.
there are just too many variables/conditions when rgb controllers have "hand-sequenced" RGB values.
