Thread: E681

Since my last post I have tried to get LSP to work with my E681 and an Light-O-Rama Cosmic Color Ribbion. It works with both but not reliabl enough to run an actual show. this software is buggy! I hope they get the bugs worked out because it could be an awsome program.

I'm having a problem getting lights to come on when playing a sequence. They work fine when using the test but no lights when running a sequence. I have done everything in the previous posts and still no lights. I have tried manual optimization, no lights. I have also tried checking and unchecking the "Perform Distributed Effect Optimization" box and still no lights. My controller output plugin for the E681 is set to multicast local area connection and all the channel settings are correct. Any ideas? Thanks!

SRW, I dont think its the software as i ran 2 E680 units with my display last year and many others did as well, more times than not its a configuration issues.

Donny if you can take a screen capture of both your E681 config and your E1.31 LSP config and the channel range used in the grid you are using then more times than not the oversight can be easily found and pointed out.

I'm sure you did this but in case you didn't, make sure that you enable output by selecting the little plug looking icon at the top left. When you test hardware, it enables this for you, and disables it when your done testing. So if you don't select it when trying to play a sequence, you get no output.

Are you kidding me? That did it!! Now to figure out why transitions won't work! Thanks!!
