    Question Remove a custom transition

I've added a few custom transitions at this point - is there any way within the GUI to remove / delete transitions from the menu? I see a couple of XML files in the LSP install directory that seems to contain the information required to populate those transition areas. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Open the proper Transition collection on the left side of the grid, highlight the appropriate transition and use the delete function ("-").

    Hope that helps.
    Thanks

Hmm... Well, it seems I only have 3 transition group names on the left. I was organizing my transitions from the get-go under custom names. I only see RGB Transitions, Live Transitions, and Mono Transitions available from the Transition Collection. Grr... How do I see the other transition collections that I can view when applying a transition to the timeline? The GUI has bested me again on another seemingly easy task...

Hmm, I added a test transistion under a collection I called "My Transistions" and that collection appears in the collection list. Can you send me "User Transistions.xml" file located in the sequencer directory and I would be happy to look at it for you? bmulvenna at hotmail.com

If your screen is like mine, It does not have room to list the other groups and there is no scrollbar.
If you click over in that window and use the down arrow key it will scroll up and show the other groups.
    Just a thought.

From the UI there does not appear to be a way to remove the transition under the Layer Transition Configeration screen.

    Layer Transition.JPG

One suggestion is to just update the xml file where they are stored. I would suggest making a copy of this file before making any changes.

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\GraphXPros\LSP Sequencer\UserTransitions.xml"

See the attached. If you select the transition the use the delete icon ("-") it will delete the transition, at least on my system. I am running LightShowPro_v1_8_10349_1306.exe

None of my custom transitions are listed on the right. Check out the following screenshot better illustrates what I am seeing. From the custom transitions on the right, there doesn't appear to be a way to delete them.

Yes - my screen looks just like yours Mickpat. From what I can tell, it looks like an oversight. If I could get the custom transitions to load into the quick pick list ont he left, I think I'd be golden...

Yes, it looks like an oversite.

Add a transition to a layer. Next, right-click on the transition and select "Save Transition to Library." Keep me posted on using transitions.
