i used my same key (less than 1 yr old) and it took it

what file did you download? Free trial or so?

There was an error in the licensing system which has since been corrected. The next time you update LSP your old key will not work! If you are having licensing issues, please PM 'admin' to get them straightened out!

My original key less than 1 y/o is limiting me to 512 channels. Just PM'ed Admin

I am writing this so that others are aware that the old key is for v1.8 only and if you use it on v2 then the channels will be limited to 1 Universe or 512 channels. You should have received a new key if you fell within the 12 month free upgrade to the Advanced level. This new key is for use with V2.

my key is just over 5 weeks old, still no email and no response to emails....

this is NOT how your supposed to treat paying customers.....

It might not be how you are supposed to treat them, but have a quick think - there are probably thousands of LSP customers, and each has to be checked to determine eligibility for the free upgrade. Once that is checked a new key is generated and emailed out to the person. I doubt this is an automated setup, so it takes time, or if it is, there would have to be some checking built in to ensure someone did not get an email with 700 different keys in it!. The more time that is spent replying to queries here means less time creating keys in the background.

I thought the initial "you will receive your keys withing 24 hours" was pretty adventurous, but it's not quite been 36 hours since release so dont worry too much yet. I won an upgrade for free, and told David there was no rush (even though I will have to part with and addition $150 for the Pro upgrade) as I know he will get to it when he can - get the other customers out of the way first, the ones who cant wait for whatever reason, or those who are having legitimate issues with their install
