Upgraded to latest version.. now it doesn't work!!
Ok..
Just upgraded to the latest version of LSP.. and I can run through the wizard to create a new musical sequence.. and then it kinda freezes. And then the program errors out and closes. What gives? This happened after the upgrade, so I tried removing the program completely and reinstalling. Same effects... Also.. during the installation, I get a rundll.exe error when it comes time to install the X10 support. Anyone else having these issues?
*Note: I suppose I should also specify that I was already running version 2 before I upgraded to the latest version.

Roger, Are you doing a clean install? I would start by uninstalling LSP. Rename the GraphXpro folder and reinstall. I use custom install and do not install the X10 file because I don't have anything with X10. I have heard of some issues if you just update. Hope this helps. I would try a new download as well just to make sure. Might also check you log file for errors.

Initially, it was just an upgrade, then I did try uninstalling and re-installing. One thing I didn't do was renmae the GraphXpro folder.. so I tried it again. Uninstalled, completely REMOVED the folder, and even ran a couple of utilities to remove any residual traces left.... Aside from wiping my OS, can't get my cleaner, I don't think.. LOL. Anyway, reinstalled, and am getting the same thing. Checked the log file and am seeing the following error:
Source : LTMM.ltmmConvertCtrl.151
Method : StartConvert
Date : 2/5/2012
Time : 10:57:22 AM
Computer : <edited>
Error : LTMM Error: The operation could not be performed because the filter is in the wrong state.
Stack Trace : at LTMMLib.IltmmConvertCtrl.StartConvert()
at AxLTMMLib.AxltmmConvertCtrl.StartConvert()
at #vh.#uh.#VL(MediaFile )
I should also add that I did use the custom install option every time I installed, but this last time I did skip the X10 installation, as I don't have any X10 gear either....

Hi Roger,
Have you tried searching the forum for that error? I think a search of the forum will reveal your answer.
Thanks

Well.. I did.. but the one thread I keep hoping will help me point to another thread... problem is... it's a bad link.
Oh, I also tried another clean installation, this time selecting to reset settings to defaults in the k-lite codec install..
Also just saw the post about using audacity to make sure the mp3 I'm using is, per your post "The MP3 must be 44,100 and 16 BIT and 128kbs and stereo and Constant" What I don't get is why this worked before I upgraded, and now it doesn't, and I'm using the same MP3's I was using before!

Just double-checked one of the MP3's I'm using... It looks like it's running the right settings.

Did you do a search for "Filter is in thr wrong state"
Make sure you have KLite installed and that it is set to handle MP3.
Thanks
