Default cable or dongle needed to connect to AL Controllers?

I need to know what cable or dongle, etc. will I need to make the physical connection to my Animated Lighting controllers. I have been using the "Monster Brain" from Animated Lighting to connect and communicate with the controllers, but if I start using LSP, what do I need to use?

    Thanks for any info.

You will need a USB to rs485 interface converter. If you google it you will find a ton of them, they look like this USB_to_RS485_RS422_Interface_Converter.jpg You can then cut the end off of a cat 5 cable that will be long -enough to reach your first controller. The green and green and white striped wires get twisted together and go to the GND pin, the blue and white goes to T- or D- and the blue goes to T+ or D+, although I may have the last two reversed. Hope that helps.
