    Default Importing Vixen Sequences

I have been trying to import my vixen sequences all day. I have installed LSP v1.7. I click on Import Sequence, point to the sequence I want to import, then point to the audio file. LSP imports the audio file and then asks me to drop in a controller. After I drop in my controllers, nothing happens. No events. Here is the last 3 emtries om the log file.

    Hi John,
the vixen import engine had a problem in the 1.7 release.
it has been corrected but has not yet been released, if you have an immediate need for this let me know and I can possibly get you a fixed build.

the log entry you are seeing is not an error (contrary to the field name) it is just a system logging of the codec used to convert the audio file.

    thanks,
    David

    Thanks David.
I have an earlier download of 1.5. If I install that, can I import the vixen files, save them and them use them with 1.7?

    Thanks,
    John

Does the new version address the Vixen conversion engine problem? I have approx 2 hours of music sequenced and I don't want to start over.

Any update on when the Vixen converter fix will be released.

I can not even argue intelligently with Mike as I have never seen an imported sequence.

I have four 500 channel sequences that I could convert and am adding 2000 more channels for this year
I will take a pre release beta version if that will get me moving forward again.

I am so far behind this year and need to get going.

What version of vixen are you trying to import? Can you send me the vixen sequence (or a link to it) and I will give it a try? bmulvenna at hotmail.com
    Thanks

OK...seems to me to be a version thing...

Most of my sequences are 2.5...I *was* able to import a 2.1. I also have a 1.3 that I'd like to use, but I can't even get vixen to open it...so ... ohwell...

Time to just get started on sequencing.

    Thanks for the offer!
