Seeing that this is the place on this board for Rants as he calls it and I wont get banned for doing so I will try my luck and see if he is true to his word that this thread wont get deleted like the original one.

I strongly feel that I make some very valid points and wish to share these with the community for them to decide.

The points which I would like to convey is simply V2 has changed the licensing scheme to limited Universes and has not looked after his existing Professional Edition Customers or upgrade agreements entered into at time of purchase.

He has stated that existing Professional Edition Version 1.0 software is equivalent to Basic V2 Software.

He has stated several times on the forums that his software is not limited in the amount universes it can use and is only limited by the resources available.

I bought the product at Version 1.7 which does not have any limitations on the Universes which Version 2 Basic now has. (ALL VERSIONS ACTUALLY)

Along with the sale came free upgrade path for 1 year when I purchased LSP Professional Edition.

For this we should have free upgrade path the LSP Professional Edition V2 as this is the closest version or Unlimited Universes which is now available. Instead we get a limited version to 16 Universes or 8192 channels.

For people who don't get this special offer because they are out of support period get 1 Universe Version 2 a Major Downgrade. Some would say Useless however the upgrade prices are fair. How are the people which pay to take up your V2 Two year Support and upgrade agreement going to fair next year when you bring out V3? Are you going to drop them to Basic as well?

How is going from Unlimited Universes Professional Edition to 16 Universes Advanced Edition an Upgrade David?

I am not out to rubbish this Great product and I do believe that the pricing and upgrade pricing scheme is reasonable.

I am just looking to get the level of service which I Purchased less than one year ago and believe are entitled to.

Not everyone thinks that upgrade offer is unfair I myself don't think that it is unfair either however I did pay for an upgrade path not a Downgrade path and I would like David provide his Early Adopters and myself the full version that they are entitled to should they request it.

I hope that he realizes that it is Word of Mouth that sells his product and a happy person will tell 1 person.. an unhappy one will tell MANY MORE.

You did pay for an upgrade path, as v2 is far more stable and can predictably drive more channels than it's predecessor that you purchased for less than $90. But now it also seems that you want to go to the top of the expanded product tier, with the capability of 32,000 channels, even though the single product line you purchased was capable of no where near what the new mid-tier product can drive.

As someone who has been along for the ride with Dave's development efforts since 2006, no one deserves 30,000 channels of control for what they paid for a much lesser product. If you really believe that you should, then maybe Dave should just refund your original purchase price and be done with you.

I have a refunded Ian his original purchase price of $99.
I have also provided a pro key.
As a result, he has been banned from this community.

Maybe I should have whinged more about my free licence win costing me $150 to run the display (Remind me never to listen to you again Eddy lol)

Seriously though, good to see a final decision as it was wearing on the nerves of a few people.

LSP is where it is at because of ethics and a lot of hard work...
