    Default codec issues resolved!!!!!!

I've had some issues with LSP v2 that had to do with codecs and not LSP. With the k-lite pak that came with the download of lsp. I could not get the transitions to work. Would come up missing codec errors etc. I would have primary, masking , and secondary transitions work fine, but nothing else no matter what tweeks or changes in the codec software I made. I then downloaded divx codecs as per reading in the forum and transitions worked, but I lost the primary and secondary colors. I was able to generate a mask, but the colors didn't show up in the preview windows. No big deal I was still able to create the show, but I notice I was also haveing some problems with the audio scrubing. It was bearable but sometimes it was missing all together. Now understand I use mpg2 video to sequence my show this year, but I changed the audio to the specs that LSP requires. Again not a big deal. Since it's a new year, and everything is put away. I've come to fix the issues. Obviously it's a conflic of codecs. I unistalled both codec packs. Divx and k-lite leaveing LSP intact. Went to the K-lite site and downloaded directly from there, Imediately there was an update. Then I downloaded k-lite for windows 7 64bit do to this is what I am useing. Installed default settings, and bingo all is good. All transitions work smoothly. I've created some of my own that works great, and my audio scrubbing works perfect even with the mpg2 video file. No seperate divix pack needed do to it's already included in k-lite. I don't know if anyone else has had simalar issues. This has solved mine.

    Just some shared info

Win 7 Pro, 64 bit here as well. I tried this months ago and it did not work for me. It is possible that k-lite has put out a new version since then though. All is working for me now on the only two computers that I will be sequencing on so I'm not gonna touch it. I would like to hear from others though to confirm if this is now a working solution. If I need to reformat for whatever reason, I'll give it a try.

See I lost the primary color transitions in the preview window, and the audio got funny with the scrubbing. It still worked, just wasn't right. No matter how I configured the codecs, eliminated either or install them, I could not get Lsp to work 100%. So uninstalled all codecs and did what I posted. There is an update for k-lite and also the info on there site said you must install the k-lite package for win 7 64bit to make sure all codecs are installed. After doing that. I didn't need the divx download. I think it might of been a video drive issue or some kind of conflic. All in all it's working like a champ now. Well it's time to take the pixel plunge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!

    Thanks,
